Monday 11th July - Worthing Round-Up

It was another excellent evening of action in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance except Jimmy Floyd Hasslehoff who will be spoken to accordingly.

Vapors stay at the top of the table as they were 4-1 winners over The Dad Bods, whilst Worthing Rovers move up to second place with an 11-2 win over Broadwater, as just goals scored separate them, whilst MK's Dons dropped to third place with a 3-3 draw against Wet Ass Pukki who sit in fourth place.

Division One leaders Hussars stay top as they were 4-3 winners over Pen15 Club who drop into the bottom two.  Rimbon FC moved into second place with an emphatic 7-1 win over Arseanal, as LA Dairy Milk dropped from second to fourth after an 8-4 defeat at the hands of Packet Inn who also moved above them into third spot.  BCOB find themselves in sixth spot and outside the drop zone as they won a pulsating tie with Murder on Zidane's Floor by a 6-5 margin.

Division Two leaders LR Vets are relentless this season, a 12-0 thrashing of Bowen Balcony sees them having scored an incredible 41 goals in four games!  Ian Moores Boys in second lost ground on the leaders by two points as they suffered their first loss of the season, a shock 6-2 reverse against Not So Athletic in what was their first win of the campaign.  Cream of the South completed the divisions action as they returned to the league after missing last week and were impressive 5-0 victors against Penfold.

3 For 100 top Division Three and won their fourth game in succession this week as they were emphatic 6-1 winners against Unathletico Madrid, whilst Nolu FC stay on their tails on six points after a third win in four in the form of a 3-1 win over Brass Band.  Affordable FC climbed into third place in convincing style after a 5-0 hammering of Bayern Munchies who they move above in the table, whilst game of the whole night was arguably the 12 goal thriller which was shared by Petr Cech Yourself and Disunited which ended 6 a piece!

We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment to the league and wish all good luck going into next weeks matches with Worthing's premier small sided football providers!
