Monday 11th May - Worthing Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week.

In the Premier League division, Angmering Allstars put on an impressive display, demolishing Sons of Pitches 7-1. Worthing Wolverines also maintained their top form, outclassing Murda On Zidance Floor with a 5-2 victory. However, the highlight of the night was Panda FC, defeating Rabie Rabbits 5-2, showcasing their attacking prowess.

In Division 1, the competition heated up with high-scoring games across the board. Cream Of The South snatched a narrow victory against All The Gear No Idea, with a 6-5 finish. PUKKI 22 B. also prevailed over Mangiano Fc in a thrilling 7-6 shoot-out. Duzza FC had a commanding 9-2 win over PEPs TIDES Fc, while Foreigners Fc edged out Lard Army 5-3.

Division 2 saw Asda United outplay Jabs Army with a 4-2 win, while LA dominated over CLTD Fc with a 6-1 victory. In a closely contested match, DISUNITED narrowly lost to Fringping Pong by 2-1.

Division 3, on the other hand, was a goal fest. Cant Fit My Willian narrowly defeated Backroom Benders 2-1, while Torta Pounder emerged victorious over Guildbourne Gobblers 5-3. Diddys Disciples FC showed no mercy, trouncing Big MacAllister & Fries 6-0. The biggest win of the night, however, was Colonel Getafe's astonishing 20-1 victory over Club Collins.

Top scorers for each division were also seen in action. For Premier League it was Angmering Allstars with 7 goals. Division 1 saw Duzza FC leading the pack with 9 goals. Asda United topped Division 2 with 4 goals, while Division 3 had an exceptional performance by Colonel Getafe scoring a whopping 20 goals.

The league continues to provide breathtaking action and the teams, as well as their fans, are eagerly awaiting the next round of fixtures.
