Monday 13th December - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance apart from Goring By Suiii who have now been removed and replaced.  We are pleased to welcome new team Worthing Rovers to the league as their replacement, and we wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us on Monday 20th December.


There was some more excellent action on display in the Premier Division as FC Big Wangs went to the top of the table in a thrilling encounter as they ran out 7-4 winners over The Dad Bods.  Sevilla Autism dropped to second place in the table after suffering a 2-1 defeat to MK's Dons who move up to third place in the table with that result.  Hussars picked up their second win of the campaign as they recorded a 4-1 scoreline over new side Pen1s Club who gave a good account of themselves for their opening game.  Last but by no means least was the thrilling encounter between Vapors and Packet Inn which finished all square at 7-7 in a hectic game.

In Division One, Borussia Munchonflapjack remain top of the table after a five star performance, in which they ran out 4-1 winners over You Petr Cech Yourself to complete their fifth straight victory of the campaign.  Selden Park Rangers remain in second place but drop two points off the pace after a heavy 5-2 defeat against Jen Dog FC, allowing All The Gear No Idea to go two points behind them in third place after they thumped Bodli FC by a 10-4 scoreline.  Guilty Sigurdsson moved up to fourth place as they were resounding 9-0 winners in their match against Partey Time.

Wet Ass Pukki are top of Division Two following their 5-0 win, and maintain their perfect record, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor remain on their coattails and 2 points behind the leaders, after they were 7-3 winners in an impressive performance and entertaining game.  Pukki 22 got back to winning ways after 2 without one this week as they moved back up to third position with a 4-3 victory over LA Dairy Milk, whilst Suzanne's Toy Boys moved up a place in the table with a 5-1 victory against Havana Club.

Division Three is lead by Cream of the South who won their fourth game out of five as they convincingly beat Bowen Balcony by a 4-1 scoreline.  Not So Athletic sit in second place after winning a nine goal thriller by a 5-4 scoreline, Expected Toulouse move into third place as they thrashed Bayern Munchies by a 5-1 scoreline.
