Monday 14th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent matches played across the four divisions.

Sevilla Autism made their move to the top of the pile at this early stage of the season, as they won a seven goal thriller against MK's Dons by 4 goals to 3.  Jimmy Floyd Hasslehoff sit in second place, bouncing back from last weeks defeat with a superb 7-3 victory against Hussars FC, whilst champions FC Big Wangs also got back to winning way this week with a 4-1 victory over The Dad Bods!  Another thriller saw Selden Park Rangers run out 6-3 victors over Vapors.

Worthing Rovers sit pretty at the top of Division One as they ran out 5-3 winners over The Biscuitmen who played their final game in the league.  Murder on Zidane's Floor were the big winners of the week as they trounced Studs FC by 14-3, whilst Wet Ass Pukki got their second win on the bounce in the form of a 5-1 romping over Pen15 Club.

Cream of the South had struggled in the opening two games, but the cream rose to the top this week as they dismantled Brass Band 14-1 to get their first win of the campaign on the board.  Arseanal sit top of the division after beating new boys LR Vets 9-4 in an entertaining affair to record their third straight win, as did Pukki 22 who beat LA Dairy Milk convincingly 5-2.

Not So Athletic's 100% start to Division Three continued as they thrashed Unathletic Madrid 5-1, whilst Disunited have had one of their best starts to a season since joining the league over 10 years ago!  They were 7-4 winners over Affordable FC to sit joint top in second spot.  3 For 100 and Nolu FC both recorded their first wins of the season, running out 5-2 winners int heir games against Bowen Balcony and Bayernmunchies respectively!
