An excellent evening's football overall in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exceptions being cancellations from LA Dairy Milk and Pukki 22 B, both of which return as normal next week.
In the Premier League division, the top scorer of the night was undoubtedly Panda FC, who soared to a staggering 15-3 victory against Worthing Wanderers. Treble Inbound also notched up a win, toppling Bowen Vapors in a closely contested 7-4 match. Meanwhile, MasDog And Duck edged out Expected Toulouse with a slim 4-3 victory.
In Division 1, Madeleine Milan had the most goals of the night, scoring 5 against Factory FC, who managed only 1 in return. HUSSARS FC also dominated with a 4-0 win over Rusty Club. Cream Of The South and The Lyndt Lions ended in a draw, as did Fair Weather FC and COB FC, both with scores of 3-3.
Brexit Tarring lead Division 2 with a 6-3 victory over Angmering Allstars. Asda United and ReCog also managed to secure wins, defeating Colonel Getafe and All The Gear No Idea, with scores of 4-3 and 6-4 respectively.
In Division 3, the night saw an evenly matched contest, with Diddys Disciples FC and Backroom Benders ending in a 2-2 draw. In a similar vein, DISUNITED and Pathetico Madrid also recorded a draw, this time with a score of 3-3. Lads On Toure managed to claim a 5-3 victory over Little Boys From Worthing, while Diddys Dynamos edged out Big MacAllister & Fries 3-2.
All in all, it was a thrilling week in the Worthing Monday Football League, and we look forward to more of the same next week.
