It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 32 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, and some well competed games played across the four divisions.
We are pleased to welcome new team 'All The Gear No Idea' to the league from Monday 16th June, and wish these good luck going into their debut game as they replace the outgoing Brickies FC in DIvision Two.
In the Premier League, Bowen Vapors emerged victorious against Red Rockets FC with a 7-4 win, while Worthing Wanderers beat PUKKI 22 B. 8-4. Expected Toulouse managed a 5-3 victory over Panda FC, and Treble Inbound blanked MasDog And Duck with a 4-0 triumph.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, The Lyndt Lions pounced on their opportunity to secure a 4-2 win against Rusty Club. Madeleine Milan edged past HUSSARS FC with an 8-6 scoreline, while COB FC squeezed past Factory FC 3-1. In the highest-scoring game of the division, Fair Weather FC weathered the storm against Cream Of The South, ending the match at 8-4.
In Division 2, Angmering Allstars and Bricky FC ended in a 1-1 stalemate, while Worthing Wolverines bested ReCog 4-1. LA DAIRY MILK managed a tight 4-3 victory over Asda United, with Brexit Tarring doing one better to win 4-3 against Colonel Getafe.
Finally, in Division 3, Little Boys From Worthing put on a show, crushing Backroom Benders 7-0. Lads On Toure narrowly edged out Pathetico Madrid 2-1, while Big MacAllister & Fries managed a slim 3-2 victory over DISUNITED. Diddys Dynamos rounded off the week with a 4-1 win against Diddys Disciples FC.
