Monday 17th April - Worthing Round-Up

Welcome to the latest round-up of the Worthing Monday 6 a side league, brought to you by Leisure Leagues, played on the state-of-the-art 3G pitch at Worthing Leisure Centre.


Despite the absence of two teams, the remaining teams played their hearts out, with some nail-biting finishes and jaw-dropping performances.

Neville Wears Prada return to action on Monday 24th April and Wellington Dukes have now been removed from the league. We wish replacement team Brexit Ball FC good luck going into their debut game with us!


In the Premier Division, Vapors faced off against The Seaview Sluts in a high-scoring match that saw Vapors come out on top 6-4. Meanwhile, Hussars FC defeated Pandh FC 3-0, and Worthing Rovers proved too strong for MK's Dons, winning 4-1. The Dad Bods won a closely fought match against Packet Inn, securing a 5-3 victory.


Moving on to Division One, La Dairy Milk put on a strong performance against Bowen Balcony FC, winning 8-4, while JCI FC dominated Chiefs Keefers 8-2. Toms Toys FC secured a close 8-6 victory against Pukki 22 B.


In Division Two, Tarring FC narrowly defeated FC Boca Seniors 2-1, Swaztekka showed their class with a dominant 6-1 win over Leave It FC, and Cream of the South ran out comfortable 7-0 winners over Inter Row Z.


Finally, in Division Three, Disunited narrowly edged past We Are Going Toulouse 3-2, while Lads on Toure fell to a 6-3 defeat against 3 for 100?. Havana Club secured a 4-2 win over Bayernmunchies, and Craigys at the Wheel triumphed 3-1 over You Petr Cech Yourself.
