Monday 20th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the divisions, the only exceptions being Guildbourne Gobblers, Neville Wears Prada and Pukki 22 B who are all due back as normal on Monday 27th February.

Worthing Rovers claimed a 7-0 win over Vapors to make it 2 wins in a row as they look to retain their title.  Another team to make it 2 from 2 was MK's Dons who were 4-2 winners against Packet Inn as their encouraging start to the campaign continues.  Dad Bods made it 2 unbeaten and they got their first win of the season with a 7-5 win over Hussars FC in a thrilling encounter.  PandH FC look to be good value for this season as they got their second draw since promotion, this week sharing a 2-2 draw with The Seaview Sluts.

Division One saw Bowen Balcony run out 3-1 winners over Arseanal as they also got their second win in a row, whilst JCI FC were 9-3 victors against Wellington Dukes in another entertaining clash.

Cream of the South's impressive start to the season extended into week 2, they were convincing 6-0 winners against Tarring FC to lead Division Two, whilst Golden Arch It looked impressive this week as they ran out 7-1 winners against Leave it FC.  Swaztekka got off the mark for the campaign, beating Inter Row Z 3-1 to get the ball rolling points wise.

A young Craigy's At The Wheel side look good so far this campaign, a second win in a row came in the form of a 3-1 triumph over Lads on Toure.  Havana Club also sit on maximum points from two outings, they were 4-0 winners against Disunited.  Other action in the division saw Bayern Munchies record another win, they won a seven goal thriller against 3 For 100 by 4 goals to 3, whilst the action was completed by Petr Cech Yourself who were 3-2 winners against We are Going Toulouse.
