Monday 22nd November - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and some entertaining fixtures played across all four divisions!

We welcome a new team to the league starting on Monday 29th November.  We wish The Dad Bods good luck going into their first fixture with us, they come in to replace the outgoing Asthma FC.

FC Big Wangs continued their excellent start to the campaign this week, following last weeks 6 goal haul with an 11-4 victory over Vapors.  Sevilla Autism and Chiellini Con Carne could not be separated as the two played out a goalless draw as champions MK's Dons got their season off and running with a 6-1 mauling of Hakuna Juan Mata, whilst Hussars FC got their first points on the board with a 2-0 win against Packet Inn.

Borussia Munchonflapjack and Selden Park Rangers have maximum points in Division One as both recorded their second consecutive wins, Borussia were 4-3 winners in their match against All The Gear, whilst Selden Park came out on top in a nine goal thriller, they were 6-3 victors against Bodli FC.  Guilty Sigurdsson also won by the same scoreline in a thrilling encounter against Jen Dog FC.

Division Two is led by the two Pukki sides who both sit with two wins from as many games, Pukki 22 were 4-3 winners over Suzanne's Toy Boys whilst Wet Ass Pukki recorded a 3-1 win against LA Dairy Milk.  Murder on Zidane's Floor got their season up and running after they were soundly beaten last week, they recorded a 9-3 hammering of Goring By Suiii, whilst Arseanal also put their first points on the board scoring a 4-3 victory against Havana Club.

Not So Athletic looked in fine fettle this week, bouncing back from a defeat last week with a stunning 14-3 victory against Expected Toulouse, whilst Cream of the South followed up last weeks winning start with a superb 7-2 thrashing of Borden's Angels.  Unathletico Madrid also scored 7 goals as they hammered Bowen Balcony by a 7-3 scoreline, whilst Bayern Munchies got their season up and running at the second time of asking, with a 4-2 win over old stagers Disunited.

We wish all teams good luck going into the third round of fixtures with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
