Monday 23rd March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions.

We are delighted to confirm that the league is full this week following the arrival of new team Lard Army.  We wish these good luck going into their first game on Monday 30th March!

In the Premier League division, Angmering Allstars triumphed over Sons of Pitches with a 3-1 victory. However, the Brazilian Bummers were the big winners of the night, netting 6 goals against Panda FC who only managed to score one. Lastly, an edge-of-the-seat encounter between Madeleine Milan and Fair Weather FC ended with a 4-3 victory for the former.

Division 1 witnessed close encounters, with Cream Of The South losing 4-5 to All The Gear No Idea, and Mangiano Fc narrowly defeated by PUKKI 22 B., with a 3-4 result. However, Optimum Landscapes dominated the night, scoring an impressive 9 goals against BOWEN VAPORS, who were only able to score twice.

In Division 2, Asda United overcame Jabs Army with a 4-2 victory, while Morgan Sniffs White blanked Toe Punt Titans with an impressive 5-0 result. Not to be outshone, LA netted 5 goals against CLTD Fc’s 2, while Fringping Pong edged out DISUNITED 4-3.

The Division 3 results included a stellar performance from Colonel Getafe, who scored 11 impressive goals against Club Collins, who were only able to respond with 2. In other matches, Backroom Benders defeated Romeros FC 5-2, Torta Pounder overcame Guildbourne Gobblers 7-2, and Diddys Disciples FC snatched a 4-2 victory against Big MacAllister & Fries.
