It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all four divisions.
In the Premier League, the game of the week was undoubtedly the nine-goal thriller between Brazilian Bummers and Mundial Melts, with the former edging out a 5-4 victory in a back-and-forth battle. Elsewhere, Panda FC put on a goal-scoring masterclass, romping to a staggering 11-0 win over Madeleine Milan. Fair Weather FC and ReCog also played out a high-scoring draw, finishing 4-4, while Sons Of Pitches comfortably dispatched Toe Punt Titans 7-1.
The goal fest continued in Division 1, where Expected Toulouse lived up to their name with an emphatic 20-4 victory over Brexit Tarring. Angmering Allstars also put in a solid performance, beating COB FC 5-1, while Cream Of The South managed a clean sheet in their 3-0 win over BOWEN VAPORS. Worthing Wolverines rounded off the action with a 4-2 victory against PUKKI 22 B.
In Division 2, All The Gear No Idea showcased their attacking prowess with a 12-6 win over Tiki Taka Masala FC. Foreigners Fc kept a clean sheet in their 4-0 win over Fringping Pong while Atletico 4-skin emerged victorious in a closely fought encounter against LA DAIRY MILK, winning 5-3. Morgan Sniffs White took down Romeros FC, 3-1.
Finally, in Division 3, Asda United squeaked past Big MacAllister & Fries 2-1, while Colonel Getafe triumphed 4-1 over Backroom Benders. Diddys Disciples FC were in rampant form, beating Aura United 7-2, with DISUNITED defeating Torta Pounders 4-2 in the final game of the night.
