Monday 27th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all four divisions.

In the Premier Division two teams remain on maximum points as Worthing Rovers and MK's Dons both claimed their third wins on the spin.  Rovers were 5-1 winners over Packet Inn and sit top on goal difference, ahead of Dons who had to settle for a narrower 2-1 win against PandH FC.  Dad Bods remain unbeaten and on five points from three as the third placed team were 2-1 winners against Seaview Sluts, whilst the action for the division was completed by Hussars FC who ran out 6-3 winners in a thrilling game against Vapors.

Division One leaders LA Dairy Milk inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on Tom's Toys this week, running out convincing 5-2 winners to keep their 100% record intact at this stage.  JCI FC have bounced back from opening day defeat with back to back wins, the second of which was a well earned 5-3 win against Bowen Balcony, whilst Pukki 22B bounced back from last weeks cancellation in style, thrashing Wellington Dukes 7-0!

Division Two is led by Cream of the South as they extended their winning run into week 3, leading the way on goal difference over FC Boca Seniors who've also won their opening trio of games.  Cream of the South claimed a 4-2 win over Neville Wears Prada, whilst Boca were 5-2 winners against Inter Row Z as the two gear up to lock horns next week in what promises to be a thriller!  Swaztekka move up to third place with their second win on the spin coming in the form of an 8-2 thrashing of Golden Arch It.  Elsewhere Tarring FC claimed their first points of the season and did so in style as they ran out 6-2 winners against Leave It FC who wait to get off the mark themselves.

Moving on to Division Three where it was goals galore for 3 For 100? who claimed their first victory of the season in style, putting Disunited to the sword by a 12-1 scoreline.  BayernMunchies went to the top of the pile as they were handsome 6-0 winners in their match against We Are Going Toulouse, whilst Havana Club also remain perfect so far, a 5-1 win over Craigys At The Wheel their reward for a dominant performance.  Lads on Toure recovered from last weeks defeat and got their second win in three, a hard fought 2-1 triumph over Petr Cech Yourself.
