Monday 27th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played throughout the night.

The top v bottom clash in the Premier Division threw up few surprises this week as Worthing Rovers kept their place at the summit, seeing off Vapors by a comfortable 6-1 scoreline, moving them two points clear in the process as second placed MK's Dons were shocked as they were hammered 5-1 by Packet Inn.  Hussars remain in third place and moved within a point of the team above them as they shared a 1-1 draw with The Dad Bods, whilst elsewhere PandH FC v The Seaview Sluts also ended level in an entertaining 2-2 draw.

LA Dairy Milk remain three points clear at the top of Division One as their 100% record extended into week 7, they were pushed all the way but eventually ran out 3-2 winners against Pukki 22 B.  Toms Toys stay on the tails of the leaders though and were comfortable 6-1 winners against Chiefs Keefers this week.  JCI FC moved up a place to third as they hammered Wellington Dukes by 8 goals to 1, whilst Arseanal moved four points clear of the drop zone after overcoming Bowen Balcony 4-2.

The top three in Division Two remain separated by only two points and all three were winners again this week.  FC Boca Seniors lead the way and were 5-2 victors against Neville Wears Prada, whilst Swaztekka were comfortable 3-0 winners over Inter Row Z.  Cream of the South stay third and within the pack and they won in style this week, disposing of Tarring FC 5-0.  Golden Arch It sit tucked in mid-table and were Lovin' It this week as they hammered Leave It FC 7-2.

Havana Club's perfect record ground to a halt this week as they had to settle for a point against long serving Disunited, 1-1 the final score as the top v bottom clash was not so straight forward for the leaders.  Bayernmunchies missed their chance to draw level on points with the team above them, they were swept aside by 3 For 100 by a 4-1 scoreline.  Third placed Craigy's At The Wheel were comfortable 5-0 winners against Lads on Toure as they stay in the promotion hunt, with the action being completed by We Are Going Toulouse, who's first win came in style as they thrashed Petr Cech 5-1.

We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment to the league and wish all good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football.
