Monday 29th January - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for the season opener, and some well competed matches played across all four divisions.

In the Premier League, HUSSARS FC got off to a flying start by defeating Six Offenders in a 4-2 win. Newcomers, JCI FC, also made their presence felt by trouncing MK's Gone 3-1. But the highlight of the division was Worthing Rovers who put up an impressive 14-1 victory against Smoky Joes, setting the pace for the season.

Over in Division 1, Splashpoint DFC pulled off a 3-1 win against The Seaview Sluts, while She Was Only XI showcased their scoring prowess with a hefty 12-4 triumph over Pathetico Madrid. Cream Of The South also did not disappoint fans, overcoming Worthing Wanderers 5-2.

The action continued in Division 2, as Bowen Balcony outscored Tarring FC in a 12-4 goal-fest. Havana Club made a statement by blanking AFC PMD 6-0. SwazTekka pulled off a close 4-3 win against Expected Toulouse, fuelling excitement in the division.

In Division 3, DISUNITED started strong with a 6-3 victory over Lads On Toure. Asda United and STELLA SOUNDERS FC also emerged as teams to watch this season, with respective 6-1 and 4-1 wins.
