Monday 2nd October - Worthing Round-Up

The new season got off to a good start in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, as all teams were in attendance for their matches throughout the night, barring MK's Dons who return to action on Monday 9th October.

New team Six Offenders started in the league this week, replacing the long serving Bowen Balcony in Division One.

We welcome another new team into Division One for game 2.  We wish Gangsters Allardyce good luck in their debut game, replacing the outgoing FC Boca Seniors.

In the Premier League, Worthing Rovers started the season on a high note, securing a 2-0 victory against Arseanal. A closely contested match between VAPORS and Barrys Sh**ged Yer Ma resulted in a 5-5 draw. HUSSARS FC proved their mettle against The Dad Bods, clinching a 5-3 win.

Division 1 saw The Seaview Sluts outclass Six Offenders with a decisive 5-2 victory, as the league debutants look to find their feet going forwards. PandH FC began their campaign with a resounding 7-2 triumph over Brexit Ball FC. Not to be outdone, Packet Inn. registered the highest scoreline of the week, crushing Cream Of The South 12-3. Meanwhile, Fc Boca Seniors edged out LA DAIRY MILK 2-1 in a nail-biting encounter.

In Division 2, Tarring FC bested 3 For 100? 6-3, while PUKKI 22 B. outplayed BayernMunchies 6-2. A closely fought match between Neville Wears Prada and Havana Club ended in a 2-2 draw. Worthing Wanderers soared to a 5-1 victory over Lads On Toure.

The Division 3 matches were equally intriguing, with We Are Going Toulouse and AFC PMD ending on a 1-1 draw. STELLA SOUNDERS FC and Amstel Standing also finished on a 2-2 draw. Big MacAllister & Fries narrowly defeated Inter Row Z 1-0, while Expected Toulouse managed a 2-1 win against DISUNITED.

Thanks to all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league, and good luck to all going into game week 2 of the campaign with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
