Monday 30th October - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring a handful.  We have confirmed the return of Packet Inn, Neville Wears Prada, Gangsters Allardyce and Lads on Toure to action on Monday 6th November.  Saka Potatoes have been removed from the league with immediate effect after cancelling only their second game with us.

We welcome new team Budgen Boys to the league as a replacement for the above, wishing these good luck going into their debut game on Monday 6th November.

In the Premier League, MK's Gone secured a sensational 4-2 victory over VAPORS, while JCI FC dominated the pitch with a 5-2 win against Worthing Rovers. HUSSARS FC also showed great promise, scoring a resounding 6-3 win over Barrys Sh**ged Yer Ma.

Over in Division 1, tight games were the order of the day as LA DAIRY MILK edged out Panda FC 3-2, and Brexit Ball FC snagged a narrow 4-3 victory against Cream Of The South.

In Division 2, Worthing Wanderers pulled off a nail-biting 3-2 victory over Tarring FC, while Havana Club and BayernMunchies ended in a 2-2 draw.

In Division 3, AFC PMD managed to hold off Inter Row Z with a close 6-5 victory. Expected Toulouse saw off STELLA SOUNDERS FC 3-1, and We Are Going Toulouse bagged a 4-3 win against DISUNITED. Big MacAllister & Fries put up a commendable fight but fell 6-3 to Amstel Standing.

In summary, week five in the Worthing Monday Football League proved to be an exhilarating round of matches, showcasing the best of grassroots football. We look forward to the next week of action-packed fixtures.
