Monday 5th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played throughout the night.

After completing their withdrawal notice, Swaztekka and We Are Going Toulouse have withdrawn from the league.  This does create TWO VACANCIES in the league for an immediate start!  Sign up today to book one of these and an immediate start for your team!

On the pitch, starting with the Premier League matchup, anticipating the clash between Panda FC and Six Offenders, spectators were not disappointed with the 10-goal thriller that ended in a stalemate at 5-5. Worthing Rovers nipped a narrow victory against VAPORS with a 2-1 scoreline, while MK's Gone showcased their dominance over HUSSARS FC with a 4-2 victory.

Division 1 also experienced some exciting football. LA DAIRY MILK outscored Cream Of The South 4-2, while 3 For 100? demonstrated their offensive prowess against Splashpoint DFC, winning by a convincing 6-1 margin. The most shocking result came in the form of a 12-0 mauling by Worthing Wanderers on Pathetico Madrid. The Seaview Sluts rounded off this set with a 5-1 trouncing of She Was Only XI.

In Division 2, a closely fought battle saw Havana Club edge out Expected Toulouse 5-4, while Bowen Balcony overcame SwazTekka 7-4. PUKKI 22 B. outplayed Tarring FC 6-4, and AFC PMD ended on the winning side against BayernMunchies with a 3-1 victory.

Finally, in Division 3, Lads On Toure put up a dominant performance to win 6-1 against Big MacAllister & Fries. Inter Row Z faced a narrow defeat to Amstel Standing's 2-1 win, and Asda United comfortably won 6-1 against DISUNITED. STELLA SOUNDERS FC put up a 5-2 victory over We Are Going Toulouse.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
