It was a good start to the new season in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night apart from The Wrecking Crew, who've been removed and replaced with new team Brickies FC who we wish good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 14th April.
In the Premier League, BOWEN VAPORS showed their potency, defeating Worthing Wanderers 4-2. Expected Toulouse also started their campaign strongly with a 3-0 win against Red Rockets Fc. Meanwhile, Ford Focus outpaced PUKKI 22 B. with an 8-2 victory. The most closely contested match of the division saw Panda FC narrowly overcoming MasDog And Duck with a 3-2 win.
In Division 1, The Lyndt Lions roared to a staggering 10-1 victory over Unathletic Club, setting the bar high for the rest of the season. COB FC and Rusty Club battled to a 2-2 draw, while HUSSARS FC outscored Cream Of The South, finishing 8-4. Fair Weather FC shut out Future Fc with a 5-0 win.
Division 2 saw Worthing Wolverines claw their way to a 5-3 victory over Angmering Allstars. ReCog secured a narrow 4-3 win against Brexit Tarring, and LA DAIRY MILK delivered a commanding 5-1 win against Colonel Getafe.
In Division 3, Pathetico Madrid toppled Backroom Benders with a 7-1 victory. Big MacAllister & Fries earned a 2-0 win over Little Boys From Worthing. Lads On Toure and Diddys Disciples FC played to a 3-3 draw, while Diddys Dynamos eked out a 1-0 win against DISUNITED.
