Monday 7th August - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being Under The Radar who've now been removed.  We also say goodbye to Golden Arch It FC after a long stay in the league, and hope to see them back in the future.

With the above in mind, we welcome two new teams to the action this week.  We wish Expected Toulouse (Division Two) and Amstel Standing (Division Three) the best of luck in their games on Monday 13th August as they start their Leisure Leagues journey!


In the Premier League, Worthing Rovers emerged victorious with a 4-2 victory over HUSSARS FC. Worthing Rovers' clinical finishing proved to be the difference as they secured all three points. Meanwhile, Barrys Sh**ged Yer Ma had an exceptional night, dominating LA DAIRY MILK with a resounding 6-0 win. Their attacking prowess was on full display.


MK's Gone secured a 2-0 win against The Dad Bods in a hard-fought contest, showcasing their defensive resilience. JCI FC also registered a convincing 5-1 victory against Packet Inn, with their attacking prowess shining through.


In Division 1, Arseanal narrowly edged past VAPORS with a thrilling 4-3 win. The match provided end-to-end action, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. The Seaview Sluts displayed their dominance with a commanding 5-1 victory over Bowen Balcony FC. Meanwhile, FC Boca Seniors and JCFC played out an exhilarating 4-4 draw, showcasing their offensive capabilities.


Division 2 witnessed some impressive displays as well. 3 For 100? showcased their goal-scoring prowess with an emphatic 8-1 victory against Tarring FC, leaving their opponents struggling to contain their attacking threat. BayernMunchies secured a comfortable 4-0 win against Neville Wears Prada, while Brexit Ball FC overcame a resilient Inter Row Z side to clinch a 6-3 victory.


Lastly, in Division 3, Big MacAllister & Fries dominated DISUNITED with a convincing 5-1 victory, highlighting their ability to control the game from start to finish. We Are Going Toulouse secured a narrow 1-0 win against STELLA SOUNDERS FC, while Golden Arch It FC demonstrated their attacking prowess with an impressive 6-1 victory over AFC PMD. Havana Club secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against Lads On Toure in a closely contested match.


The Worthing Monday Football League continues to provide exciting football action week after week, showcasing the passion and skill of the local footballing community. As the season progresses, the teams are expected to raise their game, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats with their thrilling performances.
