Monday 7th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in game week 12 in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 32 teams in attendance for their matches and some fantastic football played across all four divisions once again!

The top two met this week and FC Big Wangs finally confirmed themselves as champions which they've been threatening for a while, they may have drew 4-4 with MK's Dons in a thrilling game, but that was enough to mean they cannot be caught going into the last two weeks as they now sit 6 points clear with only 4 points to play for.  Sevilla Autism dropped to third place after a surprising 7-1 thrashing by second bottom Packet Inn who are already relegated and evidently playing with some freedom!  Hussars confirmed another season in the Premier Division this week as they remain in fifth place, beating fourth placed Vapors 4-3 in an entertaining encounter.

Selden Park Rangers moved to the top of the Division One table after running out 3-2 winners against Borussia Munchonflapjack who they leapfrog in the table.  All The Gear No Idea remain in third place as they were 7-4 winners over Jen Dog FC.  Partey Time were 4-1 winners of Bodli FC, picking up on their second win of the season in style, whilst second bottom Petr Cech Yourself dug in for a 1-0 win over Studs FC to keep alive their survival hopes.

Wet Ass Pukki have only won 1 of their last 4 games but remain top of Division Two as they drew 1-1 with Arseanal.  Murder on Zidane's Floor stay four points off the leaders as they couldn't manage a win to reduce the deficit, they drew 4-4 with LA Dairy Milk in an entertaining game.  Pukki 22 and Worthing Rovers keep their promotion hopes alive as both sit just two points off second, Pukki 22 were convincing 6-0 winners against Affordable FC whilst Worthing Rovers beat new boys 3 For 100 by a convincing 8-1 score line.

Cream of the South move ever closer to guaranteeing promotion, they need just one more point from the last two games to make it official after a thrilling 6-5 win over Expected Toulouse.  Not So Athletic keep their place in second after an 11-3 win over Bayern Munchies, whilst Jimmy Floyd Hasslehoff have shown they will be going into a higher division for the new season as they thrashed Unathletico Madrid 14-0.  Bowen Balcony moved into fourth place with a convincing 7-2 win against Disunited.
