Monday 7th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent games played across all four divisions.

It was another goal fest involving MK's Dons this week as they came out on top in a ten goal thriller, beating Jimmy Floyd Hasslehoff 6-4, this follows their 5-3 win last week so they look to be the entertainers of the division so far.  Sevilla Autism keep their unbeaten start to the season going, following up last weeks draw with a superb 5-1 win over The Dad Bods, as did Hussars who ran out winners of a nine goal thriller, beating Selden Park Rangers 5-4.  Vapors recovered from a heavy defeat last week to beat champions FC Big Wangs 5-2 in a superb result!

Worthing Rovers show that they are not phased by promotion to Division One, they got another win this week, their tenth in a row since joining as they were convincing 6-1 winners against Packet Inn.  Pen1s Club also have two wins on the bounce as they beat Biscuitmen FC by a 4-2 scoreline.  Wet Ass Pukki registered their first points of the season since promotion after winning 4-1 against Murder on Zidane's Floor, whilst Jen Dog FC came out on top of a 12 goal thriller as they beat Studs FC 8-4.

Arseanal were emphatic 12-1 winners in their game against Brass Band as they have started the campaign in fine fettle, racking up 17 goals in just two weeks!  LA Dairy Milk also got their second win on the spin as they were 3-2 winners against Petr Cech Yourself, and Pukki 22 notched a well earned 6-1 victory against Cream of the South who are still adjusting to life since promotion.

In Division Two, Bowen Balcony were 4-0 winners against Unathletico Madrid, following up last weeks 8-0 thrashing of Affordable FC giving them an electric start to the campaign.  Not So Athletic made it not only two wins, but two clean sheets on the bounce as they were 3-0 winners against Nolu FC, whilst Disunited look far from that after two games, they edged past Bayernmunchies 1-0 to also make it two wins from as many games.  Well done to Affordable FC who were 5-4 winners over 3 For 100, collecting their first league win since joining!
