The fifth week of the Worthing Monday 6-a-side Football League saw fierce competition amongst the teams across all the divisions. Each game was a testament to the players' determination and grit, bringing forth a thrilling spectacle for all spectators involved.
Starting with the Premier League, a hard-fought match between Foreigners FC and Angmering Allstars ended in a narrow 2-1 victory for the Allstars. In other Premier League matches, both Rabie Rabbits and Panda FC, as well as PUKKI 22 B and Madeleine Milan, battled it out to a 2-2 draw, demonstrating an evenly matched competition in this division.
In Division 1, Bussin trounced DJs Disciples with a staggering 10-2 victory, emerging as the top scorers for the week in their division, while Mangiano FC's impressive 8-1 win over Cream Of The South made them another standout. Ayew Mad, unfortunately, fell short against Fringping Pong, losing 5-1.
In Division 2, Morgan Sniffs White and Colonel Getafe both pulled off exciting victories, scoring 6 goals each against DISUNITED and Lard Army respectively. PEPs TIDES FC also came out strong, defeating Nip Drip FC 4-1.
Lastly, Division 3 saw some riveting action with Backroom Benders delivering a strong performance against Guildbourne Gobblers, ending in a 5-0 win for the Benders. Another notable game was between Jabs Army and Asda United, ending in a 5-3 victory for Asda United.
