Monday 9th August - Worthing Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, the only exceptions being Selden Park Rangers and Pitch Invasion, both of which have confirmed their return on Monday 16th August.

It was a cracking night of action across all four divisions in the second week of the new campaign with some thoroughly entertaining fixtures played out throughout the entire evening.  Game of the night was the 16 goal thriller in Division Two in which newly renamed Murder on Zidanes Floor (formerly Crack Attack) were in lethal form in front of goal, and put defending to the back of their mind as they romped to a 12-4 victory over Degree Six Recruitment!

We are pleased to see the league continuing to run as smoothly as it is at present and we thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment which is ensuring this remains the case.  We remind you all that should you ever need to cancel a fixture, we require 7 days notice to avoid charge of the match fees so please try and plan your team in advance and avoid a penalty for short notice cancellations.
