Sunday 12th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions, including new team 'Alan FC' who came into the Premier Division, unfortunately the only exception to this being a cancellation from Ji Sung Park The Bus late on in the afternoon.

Leaders Fatzio made it 5 wins on the spin this week but were made to work to do so, they won the meeting of the top two before kick off, beating She Was Only XI 4-3 as they drop to third, allowing Petr Cech Yourself to move up to second with a 3-2 win over The Tutt Experience.  The Rebels moved up to fifth place in the table as they were convincing 3-0 winners against fourth placed TTM FC.

The Bobby Carlos Experience continue to dominate Division One, a fifth straight win for the leaders who thrashed Chicken Tikka Mo Salah 7-1.  Second place is now occupied by Jong HSG but they had a tough outing against bottom side Hakuna Juan Mata who dug in deep but eventually lost 1-0.  Real Le Sheet dropped a place to third as they had to settle for a point in an eight goal thriller against Sompting Dragons which finished 4-4, whilst Unnamed FC moved back to fifth with a disciplined 2-0 win against Inter Ya Nan who drop to sixth.

Division Two opened back up after week 5 as leaders Mambo No 5 suffered a surprise defeat against The Defeatables, 6-5 the final score in a pulsating game which moved the winners up a place to sixth.  Maradona Kebabs 4-0 win over bottom team Cheeky Blinders sees them move up to second place, whilst Badabing Boys were 4-1 victors over Wicky Wines to move into third position, dropping Coman Her Face into fifth place as they were beaten by fourth place Khedira Pin Drop who were 1-0 winners in a tightly competed encounter.
