Sunday 13th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring Enter a Team Name Here who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 20th February.

In the Premier Division, High Salvington Gentlemen were 4-1 winners over Lahmageddon as they officially sealed the title this week.  This was confirmed as Fatzio were beaten 5-2 by The Tutt Experience who confirmed their safety for next season.  Third placed Real Le Sheet suffered a 5-3 reverse at the hands of Ji Sung Park The Bus, who got their first points of the season since joining in an impressive result!  Elsewhere, Weymouth Wanderers moved up to fourth place after they ran out narrow 2-1 winners against OLOTR.

Unnamed FC remain top of Division One but saw their lead cut to a single point going into the final game of the season.  They were beaten 2-0 by The Rebels, whilst Bobby Carlos Experience ran out 5-3 winners over Class on Grass, making next weeks clash between the top two a thrilling prospect to finish the season in a winner takes all game!

The Defeatables confirmed the Division Two title with a game to spare as they ran out 5-2 winners, whilst Mas Dog Academy look in good shape for promotion as they were 10-2 winners over Inter Ya Nan, only needing another point or to better third place Rusty's result to confirm it.

We wish all teams good luck going into the final game of the season with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
