Sunday 14th August - Worthing Round-Up
It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Mas Dog Academy who've confirmed their return to action on Sunday 21st August.
Fatzio dropped off the top of the table this week as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Lahmageddon in a well competed game, High Salvington's 5-0 win puts them back in the lead by a single point. Real Le Sheet remain in third place and just a point off the summit as they were 5-3 winners over Unnamed FC. Completing the action in the Premier Division was a big win for The Tutt Experience who were 2-1 winners over She Was Only XI, giving them a chance of survival with three games to go.
Division One leaders Chicken Tiki Taka stay top on goal difference as they were 7-4 winners over TTM FC, they are being chased down by Inter Ya Nan though who were 6-5 winners against Chicken Tikka Mo Salah. Third placed The Rebels were 3-1 winners over The Defeatables as they remain two points off the promotion places, making for an interesting end to the season. Ji Sung Park The Bus moved up to mid-table and should be safe for next season after a 4-2 victory over The Not So Try Hards.
Division Two leaders Sompting Dragons were held to a 2-2 draw by Milf Hunters in what was the battle of the top two before kick off. A result which allowed Hakuna Juan Mata to move into second spot as they thrashed Breast Rummage Albion 7-2. Fourth placed Petr Cech Yourself still have a chance of promotion as a 3-2 win over So Sompting Crew meaning they are now two points off the promotion spots. Maradona Kebab won the battle of the top two as they ran out convincing 4-1 victors against Coman Her Face.
