Sunday 15th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was another good evening's 6 a side football in Worthing on Sunday overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring Harry's Stiff and Bilbao Baggins, who will both be spoken to accordingly and confirmed to return on Sunday 22nd February.


In the Premier League, Unnamed Kebab FC suffered a decisive 4-1 defeat at the hands of Dynamo Chicken Kiev. Despite a valiant effort, Unnamed Kebab FC couldn't match the relentless offense of Dynamo.


The match between The Rowdy Apples and West Hammered was an exhilarating deadlock, ending in a 4-4 draw, a testament to the high level of competition in the league. Sompting Dragons bested Hakuna Juan Mata with a tight scoreline of 3-2. Savas De Vaal and Purple Wanderers also battled fiercely, finishing with a 3-3 draw.


In Division 1, The Cheeky Blinders fell short against Benjamin Tesko in a closely contested match, concluding at 3-2. Socks Down Studs Up outclassed The Tutt Experience with a convincing 6-3 victory. Mandem FC made a statement with an impressive 13-0 thrashing of Creamers, marking the highest scoring game of the night. Additionally, Jacks Barbers FC put on a scoring clinic against Inter Ya Nan, closing the game at 10-4.


Although all teams showcased immense talent and teamwork, the standout scorers from the Premier League were Dynamo Chicken Kiev and The Rowdy Apples, both teams scoring four goals. In Division 1, Mandem FC was the high-scoring team with a stunning tally of 13 goals.
