Sunday 15th january - Worthing Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week as the new season kicked off.  The only disappointment was a non-attendance from Mas Dog Academy who've now been removed from the league.

The Rebels got their campaign off to a scintillating start in the Premier Division as they put to the sword newly promoted Ji Sung Park The Bus by a 9-2 scoreline.  Fatzio will be looking to go one better than last season's second placed finish as they were 6-1 winners over The Tutt Experience, whilst in the battle of the other promoted teams, Petr Cech Yourself edged past TTM by a 2-1 scoreline.

In Division One, Real Le Sheet had an encouraging start with a prolific performance in front of goal, they were 7-2 winners over Hakuna Juan Mata, whilst newly promoted Bobby Carlos Experience had a superb start to their new division, beating Jong HSG by a convincing 4-0 scoreline.  Elsewhere Unnamed FC put in an efficient performance as they beat Chicken Tikka Mo Salah 3-1, whilst completing the action in the division and last but by no means least, was Sompting Dragons and Inter Yanan who shared a point apiece in a 4-4 draw.

Coman Her Face had a fine start to the campaign as they ran out comfortable 5-0 winners against The Cheeky Blinders.  Badabing Boys also looked good in their season opener as they were 4-2 winners against The Defeatables.  Mambo No 5 Turned 6 completed the action with a disciplined performance as they beat Maradona Kebab 2-0.
