Sunday 15th October - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, as all teams were in attendance for their matches across the three divisions as scheduled, and some superb action was enjoyed by all.

After completing their withdrawal notice, TTM FC have withdrawn from the league after an 18 month stay in the league.  We thank them for their time with us and hope to see them return in future.

In the Premier League, matches proved a close affair with two draws and two decisive victories. Mc Bigwangs FC and Meridian FC fought out a 2-2 tie, while RealLeeSheet and Jong HSG shared the spoils in an exciting 3-3 draw. Pique Boo, however, struggled against LA Underdogs, losing 7-1. The night's top performance came from the Sompting Dragons, who outgunned TTM FC 4-1.

In Division 1, SHE WAS ONLY XI left an indelible mark, trouncing Egg Fried Reus 6-0. Foreigners FC clinched a 5-3 win against LongRichNPeng, while Hakuna Juan Mata managed a 3-1 win over Farcelona Fc. Khedira Pin Drop also scooped up a victory, beating SDL FC 6-2.

The action was no less intense in Division 2. Dynamo Chicken Kiev ran rampant against Goal Digger United with a 6-3 scoreline. Coman Her Face narrowly edged out Bosses Not Tosses 3-2, while Unnamed Kebab FC won 1-0 in a tightly contested match against The Tutt Experience. Rounding off the night was an emphatic 7-2 victory for Only Fools And Scorers over The Cheeky Blinders.
