Sunday 16th April - Worthing Round-Up

Welcome to the round-up of the Worthing Sunday 6-a-side league, held at the Worthing Leisure Centre. It was a great day of football with all the teams from across all three divisions putting in some fantastic performances.

In the Premier Division, league leaders Fatzio were in scintillating form, dispatching TTM FC with a comprehensive 4-0 victory. Debutant team MC Big Wangs FC also had an impressive start to their campaign, defeating The Rebels in a high-scoring encounter that ended 5-3. She Was Only XI were also in fine form, as they overpowered The Foreigners with a dominant 4-1 victory.

In Division One, The Bobby Carlos Experience managed to secure a crucial 1-0 win over Inter Ya Nan, which saw them climb to the top of the table. Real Le Sheet, who were previously at the top of the table, were held to a 2-2 draw by Jong HSG, and as a result, they now sit in second place with one game to go. Sompting Dragons managed to edge out Chicken Tikka Mo Salah with a hard-fought 3-2 win, while Unnamed FC and Hakuna Juan Mata played out an entertaining 3-3 draw.

In Division Two, Mambo No Five and Khedira Pin Drop both recorded emphatic 10-1 wins over Hairline FC and Cheeky Blinders respectively. The Defeatables also secured a vital 2-0 win over Coman Her Face, while Badabing Boys won a close encounter against Maradona Kebab by a solitary goal.
