Sunday 16th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, the only exception being Benefit Boys who were a new team due to start with us, which is concerning.  They will be spoken to accordingly.

In the Premier League, Dynamo Chicken Kiev dominated the field with a sweeping 5-0 victory over Sompting Dragons. The match was a testament to Dynamo's striking prowess and defensive stronghold. Foreigners FC also got the better of SDL FC in a 4-2 fixture, further intensifying the competition in the league. However, the most nail-biting encounter was between Hakuna Juan Mata and Otters FC, where Otters FC edged out their rivals 4-3 in a closely contested clash.

Moving on to Division 1, 30 Second Finishers fired on all cylinders, defeating Unnamed Kebab FC 6-2. In another intriguing match, The Tutt Experience managed to outmaneuver BNT RETURN with a 3-2 scoreline. CLASSIC XI added another win to their tally, overpowering Mary Slurps 6-3, while Goon Squad and Hgc Army battled to a hard-fought 4-4 draw.

Lastly, Division 2 saw An Average Bunch triumph over The Cheeky Blinders with a 5-2 victory. Coman Her Face also secured a win over Secure The Coin FC in a 5-3 encounter, while PURPLE WANDERERS and Schindlers Assist ended on a 1-1 stalemate. NOARC couldn't resist the formidable attacking force of Only Fools And Scorers, succumbing to a 2-5 defeat.
