Sunday 16th October - Worthing Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being non-attendances from Mas Dog Academy and The Not So Try Hards, both of which will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 23rd October.

On the pitch there were some competitive matches played out, the top two in the Premier Division can barely be separated in the league with just one goal between them, and the same on the field too as Fatzio and High Salvington Gentlemen had to settle for a point each in a game that ended 1-1.

The Rebels moved up to third place after they secured an impressive 8-3 win over Inter Ya Nan, whilst She Was Only XI climbed out of the drop zone in spectacular fashion as they heaped more misery on bottom of the table Lahmageddon whom they beat by 7 goals to 2.

In Division One, The Tutt Experience's recent upturn in form continues as they climbed to the summit with a 6-1 thrashing of The Defeatables, whilst Petr Cech Yourself leapfrogged this weeks opponents Unnamed FC in the table, they move up to second after a well earned 2-0 win.  Hakuna Juan Mata bounced back from their heavy defeat last week and did so in the best way possible as they were 6-3 winners over Ji Sung Park The Bus.  Sompting Dragons did their survival hopes no harm as they bid to climb the table in the second half of the season, a 4-1 win over TTM FC provides them with the perfect springboard to do so.

Division Two leaders Bobby Carlos keep their perfect start to the season intact as they were 4-1 winners over Maradona Kebab in the only league game of the division.
