Sunday 18th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring two.  We have confirmed Dynamo Chicken Kiev and Durrington CF to return as normal this weekend.

In addition to the above, we welcome new team Otters FC into the league and wish these good luck going into their first game on Sunday 25th February.

The Premier League division was a hotbed of excitement, where the 6 Offenders managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Jong HSG in a nail-biting match. Bolstering the action, LA Underdogs triumphed over SHE WAS ONLY XI with a remarkable score of 7-4. However, the match of the day was between Zindabad Fc and Sompting Dragons, where the latter won the fast-paced encounter with a 5-4 victory.

Division 1 witnessed some incredible football with Foreigners FC crushing Mary Slurps 6-0, demonstrating their offensive masterclass. The real shocker of the day was the massive win by LongRichNPeng, who dominated the field against Findon FC with a scoreline of 15-1.

The top scorers from each division set the pitch on fire with their impressive play. From the Premier League division, the LA Underdogs lead the tally with seven goals. In Division 1, LongRichNPeng took the spotlight with their astonishing 15 goals. Lastly, in Division 2, it was SDL FC that stood out with their eight-goal haul.
