Sunday 18th May - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Sompting Dragons who gave 7 days notice due to holiday and are due to return on Sunday 25th May.

In the Premier League, CLASSIC XI cemented their place at the top with a thrilling 9-5 victory over Dynamo Chicken Kiev. Elsewhere, Foreigners FC held their ground with a solid 3-1 win over Otters FC. But the game of the day was undoubtedly Hakuna Juan Mata versus Unnamed Kebab FC, which ended in a goal-fest 5-5 draw.

Over in Division 1, Hgc Army took the top spot with an emphatic 7-3 victory against Chubby Alonsos. Mary Slurps managed to edge Coman Her Face in a narrow 3-2 win. The 6 Offenders secured a decisive 3-1 victory over Benjamin Tesko, while Bang Average Fc pulled off a tight 3-2 win against 30 Second Finishers.

In Division 2, The Cheeky Blinders and Secure The Coin FC shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw. The Tutt Experience. registered a clean 3-0 sweep against NOARC. The league also witnessed a goal bonanza with PURPLE WANDERERS and Only Fools And Scorers battling it out for a 5-5 draw. Blue Ballers also held BNT RETURN to a 2-2 draw.
