The new season of the Worthing Sunday 6-a-side Football League kicked off with some thrilling matches last night. Teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions showcased their skills and determination, with some teams establishing a strong lead in their opening matches.

In the Premier League, the Unnamed Kebab FC and West Hammered set the tone for the season with their impressive performance. Unnamed Kebab FC defeated Hakuna Juan Mata 8-4, while West Hammered dominated the field against Dynamo Chicken Kiev with a 6-1 victory. Harry's Stiff FC also showed their strength by defeating The Rowdy Apples 7-4. Sompting Dragons managed to outscore Purple Wanderers 5-3, and SDL FC began their season with a clean sheet, defeating Savas De Vaal 4-0.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Benjamin Tesko and Inter Ya Nan emerged as the top scorers, each registering a striking victory. Benjamin Tesko dominated The Tutt Experience with a 4-0 win, while Inter Ya Nan outclassed Slightly Athletic with a whopping 8-0 victory. An equally impressive performance was seen by Jacks Barbers FC who managed a clean 3-0 win over Mandem FC.

The high scoring matches and the competitive spirit have set the tone for the rest of the season.
