Sunday 1st June - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring two cancellations.  We look forward to welcoming back Only Fools and Scorers, and Blue Ballers next week.

In the Premier League, the standout match saw Sompting Dragons narrowly edged out by Unnamed Kebab FC in a nail-biting 6-5 victory that kept spectators on their toes through the final whistle. Meanwhile, SDL FC and Otters FC shared the spoils after a hard-fought 2-2 draw. The highest-scoring match of the evening saw Foreigners FC snatch a 7-6 victory from CLASSIC XI, in what was a rollercoaster of a game from start to finish. Dynamo Chicken Kiev also claimed a convincing 7-4 win over Hakuna Juan Mata, reaffirming their position in the league.

In Division 1, the standout game witnessed Bang Average FC cruise to a 7-3 win over Coman Her Face. Elsewhere, 6 Offenders clinched a tight 3-2 victory over Mary Slurps. Meanwhile, Benjamin Tesko scraped past Hgc Army with a 1-0 win, and 30 Second Finishers triumphed over Chubby Alonsos 5-2.

Lastly, in Division 2, PURPLE WANDERERS triumphed against The Tutt Experience 4-1, demonstrating their growing prowess within the division. The other game saw BNT RETURN secure a 3-1 victory over NOARC.
