Sunday 22nd March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring cancellations from two teams.  We welcome back Jacks Barbers and Cheeky Blinders on Sunday 29th March.

We are delighted to confirm the addition of two new teams this weekend.  We wish VMFC and Arse N All good luck going into their games on Sunday 29th March!

On the pitch this week, in the Premier League, Dynamo Chicken Kiev put on a stunning performance, easily dispatching Hakuna Juan Mata 8-2. Their top scorers were on fire, displaying formidable skills and technique, leaving their rivals struggling to catch up. West Hammered, living up to their name, outclassed All Doner No Wrap with a dominant 12-0 victory, a clear statement of their prowess on the field.

A thrilling encounter saw Unnamed Kebab FC succumb 7-2 to PURPLE WANDERERS, showcasing a stellar performance from the Wanderers' top scorers. Another exciting match saw The Rowdy Apples secure a 4-2 win against Savas De Vaal, while Sompting Dragons and SDL FC shared the spoils with a 3-3 draw, demonstrating the competitive nature of the league.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Benjamin Tesko went head-to-head with Bilbao Baggins, with the latter emerging victorious with a 2-0 scoreline thanks to their top scorers' unyielding efforts. The day also saw Slightly Athletic lose to Mandem FC 5-2, in a match that highlighted the supremacy of the latter's top scorers.
