Sunday 22nd October - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches across the three divisions.  The only exception being new team Rehash United who were due to make their league debuts.  They will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their start on Sunday 29th October,

In the Premier League, Meridian FC secured a dominant victory over Pique Boo with an emphatic 16-2 scoreline. LA Underdogs overpowered Sompting Dragons 3-1, while Mc Bigwangs FC nudged past Jong HSG in a close encounter that ended 2-1.

The contests in Division 1 were no less exciting. LongRichNPeng triumphed over Egg Fried Reus with a 6-1 victory, while SHE WAS ONLY XI eked out a 2-1 win over Khedira Pin Drop. The match between SDL FC and Hakuna Juan Mata was a goal-fest, with Mata triumphing 5-4. Farcelona Fc secured an impressive win over Foreigners FC, finishing 5-1.

Division 2 saw Dynamo Chicken Kiev edge past Only Fools And Scorers in an 8-6 goal bonanza. Unnamed Kebab FC hammered The Cheeky Blinders 8-1, and Bosses Not Tosses narrowly defeated The Tutt Experience 3-2. Moreover, Goal Digger United emerged victorious against Coman Her Face, ending the match 4-1.

This season of the Worthing Sunday League has been a riveting display of football prowess, and with only two weeks left, the competition is set to reach fever pitch. Who will come out on top? The answer awaits on the pitch.
