Sunday 23rd March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all 24 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some superb football played across all three divisions.

In the Premier League, Dynamo Chicken Kiev spectacularly claimed the top spot this week with a magnificent 8-3 victory over Chubby Alonsos, setting the pace for the remainder of the season. Hakuna Juan Mata showed their resilience with a narrow 3-2 victory over Benjamin Tesko, while Otters FC edged out Foreigners FC in a tight 4-3 contest. However, the most surprising result came from the Sompting Dragons, who dominated the pitch against SDL FC, culminating in a 7-3 triumph.

Division 1 saw Goon Squad clinch a solid 3-1 win over 30 Second Finishers, while Hgc Army and CLASSIC XI kept their fans on edge with a nail-biting 5-4 result in favour of Hgc Army. Unnamed Kebab FC proved their worth by outclassing The Tutt Experience with a confident 6-2 victory. Mary Slurps and BNT RETURN ended their match in a 2-2 stalemate, adding to the tension in the race for the top position.

In Division 2, An Average Bunch powered past NOARC with a 6-2 victory, while PURPLE WANDERERS narrowly defeated Only Fools And Scorers 3-2. Coman Her Face managed to keep their noses in front against Schindlers Assist with a 3-2 win. The Cheeky Blinders, meanwhile, secured an impressive 6-4 victory over Secure The Coin FC.
