Sunday 23rd November - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions.

In the Premier League division, Savas De Vaal and Unnamed Kebab FC had a promising showdown, both teams demonstrating solid defence, resulting in a 1-1 draw. This was not the case for Benjamin Tesko, who fell under the might of Sompting Dragons, with an overwhelming 8-2 victory to the latter.

Perhaps the night's most thrilling match was between Chubby Alonsos and Dynamo Chicken Kiev. With an impressive 19 goals between them, Dynamo Chicken Kiev managed to outplay their opponent with a stunning 12-7 win. Girthquake FC also displayed their dominance, sweeping aside SDL FC with a comfortable 9-2 win. The night culminated with Purple Wanderers defeating Hakuna Juan Mata 7-2, further solidifying their position in the league.

Over in Division 1, the night was equally intense. West Hammered emerged triumphant against Bilbao Baggins with a 7-3 victory, while The Tutt Experience edged out BNT Return in a closely contested match, winning 2-1. CTRL ALT DE LIGT managed to secure a win against The Cheeky Blinders, with a final score of 4-2. Slightly Athletic and Real Social Dads displayed a tightly matched game, ending in a 4-4 draw. However, the highlight of Division 1 was Harry's Stiff FC's dominant 6-0 victory over Mandem FC.
