Sunday 23rd October - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being two teams failing to show.  Lahmageddon will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 30th October, The Not So Try Hards have been removed from the league with immediate effect as this was their second failure to attend in a row.

Fatzio took the intiative in the Premier Division at the halfway point as they capitalised on High Salvington Gents 2-2 draw with The Rebels, running out 3-0 winners in their match against Mas Dog Academy to lead the way by a single point.  It's as you were for sixth and seventh place as neither could be separated as Inter Yanan and She Was Only XI shared a 2-2 draw.

The Division One table is incredibly close as seven teams are separated by just three points at the halfway point!  Leaders Tutt Experience saw their lead at the top of the table cut to goal difference alone as they drew 2-2 with Sompting Dragons, whilst second placed Petr Cech Yourself battered TTM FC by 10 goals to 3 to bring themselves level with the league leaders.  Hakuna Juan Mata moved into third place as a recent upturn in form saw them run out 5-2 victors over The Defeatables, and Ji Sung Park The Bus moved into fifth spot with a 2-1 win over Unnamed FC in a well competed game.

Division Two leaders Bobby Carlos Experience made it 7 wins in a row this week with a 4-2 victory over Coman Her Face, whilst Maradona Kebab and So Sompting Crew shared a point a piece in a game that finished 1-1.
