Sunday 24th August - Worthing Round-Up

It was a slightly mixed evening in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with a number of teams missing due to Bank Holiday.

We've removed Foreigners and 30 Second Finishers from the league and replaced with new teams Dihriders and Metal Wood.  We look forward to seeing returns from Coman Her Face, CTRL Alt De Ligt and West Hammered for the fixtures on Sunday 31st August.

In the Premier League, Girthquake FC showed their dominance with a comprehensive 6-1 victory over SDL FC, asserting their standing in the league. Sompting Dragons also demonstrated their prowess by beating Hakuna Juan Mata with an impressive 5-1 scoreline.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, 6 Offenders continued their winning streak with a 6-4 triumph over Chubby Alonsos. PURPLE WANDERERS shut out Benjamin Tesko with a clean 4-0 win, while Unnamed Kebab FC flexed their attacking muscle, showing no mercy in a 7-0 rout against RJF FC.

Division 2 was no less action-packed, with Bilbao Baggins securing a 5-3 victory over Secure The Coin FC. However, the most commanding performance came from Mandem FC who annihilated Slightly Athletic with a whopping 11-0 win, marking the biggest victory margin of this week.
