Sunday 24th May - Worthing Round-Up

A slightly disrupted evening in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week owing to the Bank Holiday weekend, and heatwave.  We thank the teams who turned up for their matches, and look forward to settling the league down next week as we return to normal on Sunday 31st May.

In the Premier League, Sompting Dragons showcased their prowess and clinched a victory over SDL FC. The Dragons took the lead early on and managed to maintain their dominance throughout the game, finally besting SDL FC 4-2. This performance further solidifies their standing as one of the top contenders in the Premier League this season.

Meanwhile, Division 1 brimmed with high-scoring encounters. The Tutt Experience put on a stellar show, trouncing VM FC with a whopping 10-2 scoreline. In another fixture, Inter Ya Nan edged out The Cheeky Blinders 7-5 in a fiercely contested match. Lastly, Socks Down Studs Up displayed their strong form by convincingly defeating Fatletico Madrid 7-2.

With only two weeks left in the season, all teams are pushing their limits to secure a place for the next season. The league has urged all football teams to get their gear ready and brace themselves for the upcoming challenge.
