Sunday 24th September - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, as all teams attended their matches barring a couple.  Bobby Carlos Experience have completed their withdrawal notice after a number of years in the league, we hope to see them back soon when they have more settled numbers.  Hairline FC have been removed from the league after their second consecutive non-attendance.  Tutt Experience had some late dropouts but return to action on Sunday 1st October.

We are pleased to confirm the addition of new team PIQUE BOO to the league, they slot into the vacancy in the Premier Division and we wish them good luck going into their debut game on Sunday 1st October!

In the Premier League, a high-scoring duel between Meridian FC and TTM FC ended with TTM FC edging out their rivals 4-3. Meanwhile, LA Underdogs demonstrated their attacking prowess, clinching an 8-4 victory against Jong HSG. In another closely fought match, RealLeeSheet triumphed over Sompting Dragons, securing a 3-1 win.

Division 1 saw a thrilling 6-6 draw between LongRichNPeng and SDL FC, proving that both teams have no shortage of attacking talent. Elsewhere, Farcelona FC faced a narrow 4-3 loss to SHE WAS ONLY XI. Foreigners FC came up short against Mambo No5 Turned 6 with the scoreboard registering a 2-1 loss, while Hakuna Juan Mata lost out 5-4 to Khedira Pin Drop in an intense battle.

Coman Her Face dominated their match in Division 2, holding The Cheeky Blinders scoreless in a 5-0 victory. The much-anticipated match between Bosses Not Tosses and Unnamed Kebab FC, however, ended in a goalless draw.
