Sunday 25th May - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance apart from three.  Blue Ballers, Secure The Coin and 6 Offenders will all be spoken to and confirmed to return as normal for the next round of fixtures.

In the Premier League, Otters FC secured a hard-fought victory over Sompting Dragons, ending the match with a 2-1 scoreline. The Foreigners FC displayed excellent dexterity with a 3-1 triumph over Unnamed Kebab FC. The night saw some high-scoring thrillers with SDL FC taking the lead against Dynamo Chicken Kiev with an impressive 6-3 result, and Classic XI outperforming Hakuna Juan Mata in a nail-biting 6-4 finish.

Division 1 also witnessed some intense rivalries. Hgc Army managed to clinch a narrow 2-1 win over Coman Her Face. Mary Slurps delivered an emphatic performance against Benjamin Tesko, dominating the pitch with a resounding 6-1 victory. Bang Average FC displayed their might over Chubby Alonsos, shutting them out with a solid 3-0 win.

In Division 2, NOARC fell short against the formidable Purple Wanderers, who dominated the match with a 6-1 scoreline. Only Fools And Scorers gave a commendable performance but unfortunately lost to BNT Return, with the final score at 2-4.

As the season progresses, the competition is heating up, promising more thrilling matches in the weeks to come.
