Sunday 29th October - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some superb matches played across the three divisions.

We were disappointed to see another non-attendance from Rehash United who have now been removed from the league.  We are pleased to confirm the addition of new team 'Mary Slurps' to the league as their replacement, and wish these good luck going into their debut game on Sunday 5th November!

In the Premier League, we saw a fierce competition between Jong HSG and Meridian FC, with the former finding a 3-1 victory over the latter. RealLeeSheet also faced defeat with a 3-5 loss to LA Underdogs. The underdogs indeed came out on top in this contest. Meanwhile, Sompting Dragons breathed fire on the pitch, securing a 4-2 win over Pique Boo.

Division 1's games were no less riveting. Farcelona Fc clinched a comfortable 2-0 victory against LongRichNPeng, while SDL FC demonstrated an outstanding performance, securing a 6-3 win over Foreigners FC. The most thrilling match of the day was between Hakuna Juan Mata and SHE WAS ONLY XI, with a nail-biting final score of 7-6 in favor of SHE WAS ONLY XI. Khedira Pin Drop also triumphed over Egg Fried Reus with a 3-1 scoreline.

In Division 2, Dynamo Chicken Kiev proved too strong for Coman Her Face, winning the match 6-3. The Tutt Experience and Goal Digger United gave us an exciting showdown, with the former bagging a 6-4 victory. Bosses Not Tosses produced a remarkable performance, shutting out The Cheeky Blinders 5-0. The close contest between Unnamed Kebab FC and Only Fools And Scorers ended in a 3-2 victory for the Scorers.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football, which will be the final games of the current season, the new season will get underway on Sunday 12th November!
