Sunday 3rd September - Worthing Round-Up
It was another good evening's football this week in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league, as we saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled throughout the night, as we get back to normality following the summer period.
Due to players leaving for University, Unnamed FC have now withdrawn from the league. In the Premier League division, Sompting Dragons showcased their dominance with a resounding 4-0 victory over DFC. RealLeeSheet also secured an impressive 4-0 win against TTM FC. Meanwhile, Mc Bigwangs Fc struggled as they succumbed to a 4-0 defeat against Jong HSG.
In Division 1, Mambo No5 Turned 6 battled it out with BadABing Boys in a thrilling encounter that ended in a 2-2 draw. Khedira Pin Drop, however, suffered a narrow 4-3 defeat against SHE WAS ONLY XI. Hakuna Juan Mata. showed their prowess, comfortably defeating UnNamed FC by 4-0. Foreigners FC also secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Farcelona Fc.
In Division 2, Only Fools And Scorers faced a tough challenge against Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, ultimately falling to a 3-1 defeat. Maradona Kebab and The Cheeky Blinders played out a goalless draw, showcasing their defensive strength. Bosses Not Tosses and The Tutt Experience couldn't be separated, as they settled for a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, Hairline FC couldn't contain the attacking prowess of Coman Her Face, leading to an 8-2 defeat.
