Sunday 5th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, and some well competed games played across the three divisions as ever.

She Was Only XI remain on the tails of leaders Fatzio after this week, they won an entertaining encounter against The Rebels by 6 goals to 4, keeping them a point off the summit as the two meet this weekend.  Petr Cech Yourself moved up to third place this week with a convincing 5-1 win over Ji Sung Park The Bus, leapfrogging TTM FC who shared a point apiece with Tutt Experience in a game that ended 1-1.

Bobby Carlos Experience remain the last team in Division One with a perfect record as they beat second place Real Le Sheet handsomely by 4 goals to 1.  Jong HSG stay third but moved level on points with second place after they were 3-2 victors over Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, whilst Inter Ya Nan's first win of the campaign came in style as they thrashed Hakuna Juan Mata 5-0. Completing the division's action was a 1-1 draw between Unnamed FC and Sompting Dragons who could not be separated.

Mambo No5's excellent start to the Division Two season continues, they made it 4 wins on the bounce this week but had to work hard for the victory as they edged past Coman Her Face 1-0, moving them three points clear at the top.  Maradona Kebab moved level on points with second place following their impressive 3-1 win over The Defeatables, whilst the action was completed by Khedira Pin Drop who recovered from their thrashing last week to romp home to a 6-1 win against Badabing Boys.
