Sunday 6th April - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a couple of cancellations.  NOARC return as normal next week, Schindlers Assist have now withdrawn and been replaced by new team Blue Ballers who we wish good luck going into their first game on Sunday 13th April.

In the Premier League, Hakuna Juan Mata managed to edge out Dynamo Chicken Kiev with a close 3-2 victory. In a high-scoring encounter, Foreigners FC decimated Chubby Alonsos 15-2 to climb the standings, while Sompting Dragons secured a tight 2-1 win over Benjamin Tesko. SDL FC, meanwhile, made easy work of Otters FC, dominating the game 8-0 and leaving no doubt about their intent this season.

Over in Division 1, a thrilling match between CLASSIC XI and 30 Second Finishers ended in a 3-3 draw, while BNT RETURN took a comfortable 3-0 victory against Goon Squad. Hgc Army and Unnamed Kebab FC could not be separated and had to settle for a 4-4 draw, while Mary Slurps successfully overcame The Tutt Experience with a 5-3 win.

In Division 2, PURPLE WANDERERS secured a 3-1 victory against An Average Bunch, and The Cheeky Blinders narrowly triumphed over Only Fools And Scorers with a 2-1 win.
