Sunday 6th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches barring a late cancellation from Posh and Becks Vier who we thank for contacting us and look forward to seeing return on Sunday 13th February.

After a fantastic campaign, the High Salvington Gents all but sealed the title in the Premier Division this week as they edged past Fatzio by a 3-2 score line, meaning they are now three points clear of this weeks opponents with only four to play for, having dropped only 2 points all season you'd fancy their chances of seeing it through!  Real Le Sheet moved into third place after winning a thrilling encounter against Lahmageddon by 8 goals to 4.  Weymouth Wanderers moved above this weeks opponents The Tutt Experience by a 5-4 score line in another entertaning game, whilst OLOTR were 2-0 winners over Ji Sung Park The Bus in the battle of the bottom two, although both look consigned to Division One.

Unnamed FC were in no mood for shocks this week as they routinely beat third bottom Breast Rummidge Albion 3-1 this week to continue their place at the top of Division One, they actually moved three points clear as second placed Bobby Carlos were held to a 2-2 draw against third placed The Rebels in a game which could've gone either way.  Snorting Lisbon climbed out of the bottom two and up to fifth place with a 4-2 win over Enter a Team Name Here, whilst Only Matip In dropped into the danger zone with two games to play after they were humbled 5-0 by Class on Grass.

Special mention goes to Dragons who picked up their first win in Division Two this week, they were 5-3 victors over So Sompting Crew who drop to fourth place following this game.  Mas Dog Academy stay in second place after a convincing 3-0 win over Sompting Dragons, whilst Rustys and Inter Ya Nan shared the spoils in a thrilling 4-4 draw.
