Sunday 7th January - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night for the first games of 2024, and some superb matches played across the divisions.

Week 7 of the Premier League witnessed Jong HSG defeating Mc Bigwangs Fc 6-3 in a nine-goal thriller. The match showcased both teams' capacity to attack and find the back of the net, but it was Jong HSG who proved to be the superior side. In another match, the LA Underdogs upset 6 Offenders with a three-goal margin, winning 5-2. And finally, SHE WAS ONLY XI showcased a solid defensive performance, shutting out Sompting Dragons 3-0.

Division 1 saw Dynamo Chicken Kiev dominating Foreigners FC with a stunning 8-2 victory, cementing their position at the top of the table. Only Fools And Scorers also showed their prowess in front of goal with a convincing 5-1 triumph over Findon FC. It was a week of high-scoring games in Division 1.

Moving to Division 2, Victorious Secret recorded an emphatic 7-2 win over Bosses Not Tosses, while SDL FC overcame Just Matip with a 6-3 scoreline. Coman Her Face edged out The Cheeky Blinders 3-1, while The Tutt Experience. registered a solid 4-0 victory against Unnamed Kebab FC.
